The cover and profile photographs of the movie’s social media profiles have been discreetly altered, displaying a new logo for The Flash. Before CCXP, DC Studio’s future under the direction of James Gunn and Peter Safran finally appears promising.

The updated logo has a more geometric shape and features the trademark Flash red with golden accents. Given that the movie’s release date is set for June 2023, it appears that marketing efforts will intensify.

The Flash, which Andy Muschetti is directing and is based on the Flashpoint plot, will let viewers enter the DC multiverse. The film also stars Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck as two more Batmans in addition to lead actor Ezra Miller.

Miller had dual responsibilities in previously disclosed advertising materials as well. After a difficult year that began with the Warner Bros.

Discovery merger, the studio has undergone significant reorganization under CEO David Zaslav. Many projects have been shelved, most notably the Leslie Grace-starring Batgirl, which rocked the industry and attracted a lot of negative press.

The situation was made worse by Miller’s personal reputation, which suffered due to several legal transgressions.

Trouble started when the actor was twice detained for disruptive conduct in Hawaii. Miller has been the subject of numerous legal inquiries ever since he allegedly stole passports, threatened individuals in public, stole alcohol bottles from a residence, and even sold illegal substances to a youngster.

Miller met the studio’s newest executives, Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy, and then apologised, citing their mental health issues.

This was done because the studio intended to promote The Flash as one of its primary IPs moving ahead. Miller apologised to the audience in a statement,

“Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment. I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life.”

The drama around the films has subsided since their apologies. It will be interesting to see how the movie’s publicity develops going forward. In addition to films like Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom, Joker 2, Shazam! The Fury of Gods, and other noteworthy theatrical releases from the DC Studio, Zaslav has been outspoken about his desire for The Flash to be included among them.
