One of the most viewed movies is the neo-noir psychological thriller Raman Raghav 2.0 by Anurag Kashyap. The movie received a lot of positive reviews from viewers all over the world. Raman Raghav, a notorious serial killer in Mumbai in the 1960s, served as its inspiration. The plot was a dishonest police officer named Raghavan, played by Vicky, pursuing a serial killer named Ramanna, played by Nawazuddin.

Ramanna turns himself in to the police and admits to having killed nine people. Later, he succeeds in eluding capture. Then he murders his sister’s family as well. The responsible officer, Raghavan, discovers a photo of Ramanna at the crime scene. Ramanna tries to persuade Raghavan that the two of them are similar when they first meet.

The movie had its world debut at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival during Directors’ Fortnight. Vicky and Nawazuddin, who played a cop and a serial killer, respectively, received significant appreciation for their outstanding performances. Shirish Kunder directed Mrs. Serial Killer, which his wife Farah Khan produced. Jacqueline’s faithful and compassionate character Sona Mukerjee, who plays his wife, seeks to establish Joy’s innocence by murdering one more girl.
