Vicky, who is now very well-known in the industry, said that there was a time when people weren’t ready to cast him in their projects, but that his mother always stood by him. He said, “There was a time when nobody would hire me. I have no idea why. When my auditions didn’t go well, I’d go home and tell my mom, “I can see my dream slipping away. I don’t know what or why this is happening to me.”

He also said that his mother would tell him, “Tu ye mat sochna ki kyu aur kaise ye sab ho raha hai tu bass hoga sab theek ye yakeen rakhna.” Her words used to make him feel good, so Vicky decided to be happy.

Vicky said that Bhakarwadi and Thecha are his two favourite Maharashtrian snacks when asked what his favourite Maharashtrian snack is. Also, Nilesh, the host, finally asked Vicky why he spoke Marathi so well. “I was born and raised in Maharashtra, so I feel more at home and connected here. Also, all of my friends from childhood and school are from Maharashtra. So, I can speak Marathi very well, and I’m very proud of that,” said Vicky.

Vicky’s last job was in the movie Govindaa Naam Mera, which he did with Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar. The movie is now available on Disney+ Hotstar.
