The couple organized a religious feast, bhandara, for 100 saints after visiting Swami Dayanand Giri’s ashram. Photos of the couple seeking blessings at the ashram have gone viral on social media, leaving many fans impressed.

Anushka and Virat Kohli can be seen in the photos seeking the blessings of the saints who were sitting on the ground during the feast.

While their food was being served, the couple greeted them with folded hands and paid their respects. Anushka wore a white salwar suit with a floral shawl, while Virat wore trousers with a sweater.

They also took pictures with fans at the ashram. Earlier in the day, Anushka shared a picture of herself meditating on a riverbank. According to reports, the couple will participate in more public religious rituals at the ashram.

Reacting to their photos, a fan wrote on Twitter, “No other cricketer or even celebrity has been so connected to roots the way Kohli is.

Consider visiting Vrindavan, Rishikesh, and Nainital. I’ve never seen another celebrity do this, but Kohli, despite his celebrity, is constantly travelling to spiritual places.” “Ah, I see you’re a cultured man as well,” said another.

It is unknown if their daughter Vamika Kohli, who is frequently seen accompanying them to spiritual places, is also with them in Rishikesh. The family had previously visited Baba Neem Karoli’s ashram in Vrindavan.

The spiritual journey of Anushka and Virat Kohli comes just days before the Test series against Australia. The Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023 is another name for it.

In the coming days, Australia will travel to India for a four-game Test series that will determine the top spots in the World Test Championship. These top teams will meet in a one-time championship game at The Oval in June.

Anushka will next be seen in Chakda Xpress, a biopic directed by Jhulan Goswami.
