Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni to star in It Ends With Us movie

• In an adaptation of “It Ends With Us,” Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively will co-star.
• Justin will also serve as the film’s director.
• He first acquired the rights to the concept in 2019.

The bestselling novel “It Ends With Us” by Colleen Hoover will be adapted for the big screen by Sony Pictures and Wayfarer Studios, and the former “Gossip Girl” actress and the “Jane the Virgin” star are attached to play the lead roles.

Justin will also serve as the film’s director. He first acquired the rights to the concept in 2019. Justin has previously worked behind the camera on films like “Clouds” and “Five Feet Apart.”

Along with author Colleen, who is also consulting on the picture, and Wayfarer’s Steve Sarowitz and Andrew Colf, both stars will also serve as executive producers. Along with Alex Saks and Jamey Heath, Christy Hall will produce the film and adapt the script.

It Ends With Us, which has been on the New York Times Best Seller List for more than 90 weeks, was the best-selling print book in 2022. It centres on Lily, a woman who migrated after graduating college and develops feelings for Ryle. But as her affections grow, Atlas, her first love, resurfaces.

Blake is expecting her fourth child, but she has a busy period ahead of her because it has already been revealed that both she and Anna Kendrick will return for “A Simple Favor” sequel, with Paul Feig taking the helm once more.

The sequel to “A Simple Favor” is currently being created.

In the first movie from 2018, Kendrick played a blogger who was investigating the disappearance of a strange and stylish acquaintance from their tiny town. The film, which was both a critical and financial success, was based on the same-titled novel by Darcey Bell published in 2017.
