What movie are you excited to watch for the first time in 2023?

Are you eager to see your favourite Barbie doll come to life, Barbie girls? Or are you more of an action-oriented person who can’t wait to watch Tom Cruise pull off life-threatening stunts in the upcoming “Mission: Impossible” sequel?

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania.

The first film from the Marvel Cinematic Universe to be released in 2023 is “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.” The superhero sequel centres on Scott Lang (Ant-Man), Hope Van Dyne (Wasp), and Cassie Lang as they go on a quest into the Quantum Realm to battle the time-traveling, multiverse-hopping supervillain Kang the Conqueror. On February 17, 2023, the blockbuster from director Peyton Reed, which also stars Bill Murray and Jonathan Majors as Kang, will premiere.

Super Mario Bros.

On April 7, the iconic Nintendo video game character will appear on television. The Nintendo Entertainment System was popularised by the 1980s video game “Super Mario Bros.” Now, after a big-screen blunder in 1993 (live action anyone? ), the Italian plumber is returning to save Princess Peach once more.

The Little Mermaid

Disney’s live-action version of their 1989 animation classic “The Little Mermaid” will premiere on May 26. Halle Bailey will play the main character and sing hits including “Part of Your World” as Ariel. The fact that Halle is not the red-haired Ariel from the animation version of the movie sparked significant online debate among Disney fans, but director Rob Marshall stated that she was hired because she was the “greatest actor” for the role.

The Flash

Ezra Miller will make a comeback to the DC Universe on June 23 when he plays the Scarlet Speedster in his own film. Watch for Michael Keaton to make a comeback in his most well-known role ever.

Barbie

The world’s most popular fashion doll, played by Margot Robbie, has finished filming, and fans will be able to see her brought to life on the big screen when “Barbie” is released on July 21. Barbie gets ejected from Barbieland in the film because she is a less-than-ideal doll and leaves for the real world in search of happiness.

The Marvels

The sequel to Marvel’s 2019 origin story for Captain Marvel will hit the big screen on July 28. Director Nia Dacosta teased: “For ‘The Marvels’, my biggest thing going into it was making sure I approached these characters as human beings and not necessarily as superheroes. I want to know more about Captain Marvel. “Who is she? What are her fears? What drives her? How do you actually deal with being the most powerful being in the universe? How does that weigh on you? That’s the sort of thing I want to explore.”
