Karan Johar has written yet another essay, regarding the overwhelming reception to Shah Rukh Khan’s most recent film, Pathaan.

On Saturday, the director thanked everyone who contributed to the movie on Instagram Stories, praising Vishal and Shekhar in particular for creating Pathaan’s “blockbuster soundtrack.” The positive response, according to Karan, demonstrates that if the movie is good, trolling and threats of a boycott are irrelevant.

He wrote on his Instagram Stories, “Nothing matters more than a great film. The mega blockbuster success proves that excessive promotions, fear of trolling, boycott threats, just about all the myths that we as an industry propagate or believe in is redundant when a film like PATHAAN kills all of it!!!! Old school conviction and a kick ass trailer is what we all need! So thrilled for you Adi, Sid, bhai, bhaijaan, John, DP!!!! Rooting for you till we reach that magic number.”

He also specifically thanked Vishal Sheykhar and his music-composing partner for the success of Pathaan songs like Besharam Rang and Jhoome Jo Pathaan. On his Instagram Stories, Karan posted a photo of them and wrote, “Special shout out to my buddies Vishal Dadlani Shekhar Ravjiani for the blockbuster soundtrack of Pathaan! May the force of melody always be with you.”

Pathaan has a three-day global gross collection of 313 crore as the movie keeps putting in fantastic box office numbers.

The movie made 38 crore net in Hindi, while dubbed formats made 1.25 crore net on the third day, claims Yash Raj Films (YRF).

“On day three, India’s total take was 39.25 crore net (47 crore gross). Meanwhile, the revenue from overseas sales, which totaled 43 crore, was also staggering.

Unbelievable 90 crores were insanely collected globally on day three of the box office “On Saturday, the studio issued a press release.

On January 25, Pathaan was broadcast in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on more than 8000 screens around the world. After seeing the film’s enormous opening, the number of screens was increased.
