Since the start of season 8 of Bachelor in Paradise, the Bachelor Nation has been rooting for Brandon Jones and Serene Russell.

After clicking during the September 2022 episode, the couple fell in love right away.

While their relationship has appeared to be the stuff of fairy tales on TV, the pair admits that after leaving Mexico, they experienced “small growing pains here and there.”

Jones agreed with Russell that they do “bicker sometimes” and “argue” like “regular couple[s] do. “You deserve so much better and you are.” I didn’t want to be with anyone else except you when I saw you,” he added. “I’m thrilled that I’m falling in love with you. I’m overjoyed that you are in my life.

They taped their proposal in June 2022, and it aired that November.

On their first Christmas together, Brandon kissed his future wife. When the pair attended ESPN and the College Football Playoff’s Allstate Party at the Playoff event in Los Angeles, they appeared to be having fun.
