Buckingham Palace released information about King Charles III’s coronation
King Charles III's coronation is to be marked on Sunday 7 May...
In just over three months, the moment royal fans have been waiting for will arrive: another Buckingham Palace balcony appearance.
On May 6, various members of the Firm will appear on the balcony to celebrate King Charles‘ coronation.
It has not been confirmed which royals will be on the balcony to greet the crowds on The Mall, but many expect the Prince and Princess of Wales’ youngest son, Prince Louis, to be among them.
With his animated balcony appearances during the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations last year, the four-year-old captured the nation’s hearts.
He stole the show by making a series of playful faces and covering his ears during an RAF flypast during Trooping the Colour, which culminated in a spectacular display by the Red Arrows.
As the planes and helicopters flew overhead, Louis could be seen exchanging a few words with his late great-grandmother, the Queen.
And a lipreader told the Mirror what the pair appeared to be discussing – and it appears Louis was curious about one thing in particular.
“I hope so,” she replied sarcastically.
Louis’ excitement seemed to peak after Mr Freeman says the youngster exclaimed: “Yes yes yes” when the Red Arrows arrived and painted the sky red, white, and blue.
He also said the Queen said, “There it is,” before Louis said, “Oh Red Arrows – whoah.”
