Twinkle Khanna taunts Akshay Kumar, calls him ‘perpetrator of diabolical plan’

Actor Twinkle Khanna called husband-actor Akshay Kumar the ‘perpetrator’ of a ‘diabolical plan’ in a recent post.

Twinkle shared a video of Akshay Kumar and their daughter Nitara on a little boat in the middle of a lake on Instagram on Sunday. Twinkle was behind the lens, recording her family on her phone.

The clip began with the pair sitting on one side of the boat, while Nitara sat on the other. On an overcast day, a large lake with swans swam a short distance away.

A number of people were also spotted near the lake. Nitara turned around to watch the landscape behind her in the clip, while Akshay smiled and looked about.

Nitara wore a blue and white jacket, denims, and white sneakers, while Akshay sported a yellow fleece sweatshirt, black slacks, and shoes. Both the father and daughter were wearing life jackets as they took in the scenery. She also used Row Row Row Your Boat by The Beach Boys as background music.

“On a freezing Sunday morning, someone decides we must pedal along an icy lake. No prizes for guessing the name of the perpetrator of this diabolical plan. My usual philosophy states: Whatever floats your leaky boat as long as I am not compelled to come along for the ride. Unfortunately, the laws of philosophy, physics, and thermodynamics all crumble within a Faraday cage called marriage. True? False?”, Twinkle captioned the post.

Soni Razdan, an actor, responded to the tweet with “Hahaha (laughing emoji).” “…except that the legislation normally operates in reverse,” actor Rajesh Khattar observed. As one fan put it, “Marriage thus breaches all global laws. The universe is in danger.” “Ufff… what all prices we pay for sat pheras (Hindu wedding ritual),” said another.

Akshay and Twinkle married on January 17, 2001. They have a son, Aarav, and a daughter, Nitara. Twinkle left Bollywood in 2001 after appearing in various films. Mrs Funnybones, her debut book, was published in 2015. Her second book, The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad, was published in 2017.

Akshay was most recently seen in the action-adventure flick Ram Setu, which he co-starred in with Jacqueline Fernandez. He’ll next be seen in Selfiee, alongside Emraan Hashmi, Diana Penty, and Nushratt Bharuccha. The film, directed by Raj Mehta, will be released in theatres on February 24.
