Anurag Kashyap talked about being sacked from Salman Khan’s 2003 movie Tere Naam in his most recent film, Almost Pyaar, which he co-wrote and directed with DJ Mohabbat. In a recent interview, Anurag remembered the circumstances behind his dismissal from Tere Naam after writing the script; Satish Kaushik eventually took over as the film’s director. Salman’s Tere Naam character, Radhe, comes from Uttar Pradesh, “where guys don’t wax their chest,” therefore Anurag requested that Salman refrain from shaving his chest for the role.

Anurag Kashyap stated he enjoyed Salman’s flicks, including Sultan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and Dabangg, despite the fact that Salman and the producers rejected his request that the actor not wax his chest during the filming. Abhinav Kashyap, the brother of Anurag, really directed Dabangg (2010), in which Salman portrayed an unorthodox cop.

Anurag recently stated, “I got booted out of a film because I urged the hero to not wax his chest,” in an interview with Unfiltered By Samdish. When asked which movie, Anurag responded, “Tere Naam.” Arrey Agra-Mathura ki film thi, wahan aise thoda hee hota hai, he stated as he continued to explain why he requested Salman to grow chest hair.

Actress Bhumika Chawla made her Bollywood début with Tere Naam, which also featured Salman. In the movie, Radhe, played by Salman, falls for Bhumika’s Nirjara and stalks and threatens her in an effort to win her over. The movie, which was co-written by Bala and Jainendra Jain, is a remake of Chiyaan Vikram-starring Bala’s 1999 Tamil film Sethu.

Director Satish Kaushik discussed a remake of Tere Naam and compared Kabir Singh (2019) to it in an interview with The Indian Express from 2022. We’ll absolutely need to change with the times, he had stated. It will be challenging to make the same movie and get Salman to give the same performance. Salman has consistently argued that the movie is solid and will succeed. However, the character in it conveys the incorrect message. Kabir Singh was also the subject of discussion. Tere Naam was turned as Kabir Singh.
