Beyoncé is preparing for the Renaissance World Tour from Europe in 2023....
Beyoncé stuck in traffic and skips Grammy Awards 2023
Because of a traffic delay outside the venue, Beyoncé missed the 2023 Grammy Awards’ opening award of the night.
Terius Nash and Nile Rodgers raced to the stage to accept the prize on behalf of the “Break My Soul” singer after she won Best R&B Song.
Trevor Noah then entered to provide an explanation after Nash, a.k.a. The Dream, gave a brief address in which he thanked the audience but was restricted.
Beyonce really is on her way, then. The benefit of hosting the Grammys in Los Angeles is that everyone can attend; the drawback is the traffic, according to Noah, who spoke after the concert had already been going for 30 minutes.
The former “Daily Show” host continued by pointing out that Beyoncé now shares the record for the most Grammy awards ever (31) with George Solti.
Prior to the revelation of Beyoncé’s tardy arrival, celebrities, like Lizzo, were spotted attempting to get a look at the famous performer.
Beyoncé was situated in the arena’s corner, and cameras caught the “Truth Hurts” singer craning her neck to catch a glimpse during Noah’s monologue.
“Where?!” While turning in her chair to look for the “Halo” singer, Lizzo yelled. Beyoncé was running late, but her husband Jay-Z was seen in the crowd by himself.
The “Single Ladies” star left with awards for Best Dance/Electronic Recording and Best Traditional R&B Performance before the main program. She had a total of nine nominations for awards.
Together with his wife, Jay-Z is nominated for Album of the Year and Song of the Year as a songwriter.
