The wedding of Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra is scheduled to take place at Jaisalmer’s Suryagarh Palace. The same was confirmed by the heritage hotel in response to a paparazzo Instagram post regarding the wedding being scheduled for February 4–6. The palace is located in the middle of the vast Thar desert and features pools, a lake garden, an archery range, exotic royal chambers, a variety of cuisines, and views of the beautiful, desolate landscape.

The hotel is currently closed from February 4–11, which gives another indication of how guests might stay longer. The hotel offers air connectivity to Jaisalmer for weddings, two gardens and courtyards, and 83 rooms. The Jaisalmer Haveli rooms, which average 76000 a night and are 1350 square feet in size, are the most expensive rooms. Fort Rooms are the least expensive, with rates ranging from $23,000 per night on weekdays to $36,000 per night on weekends.

The hotel includes two gardens: the open-air Celebration Gardens, which feature mattress-style sitting and tasselled canopies for an authentic Indian dining experience. The Lake Gardens is like something out of a dream because it allows guests to eat by the lake in a setting with an open sky and dim lighting. Here, everything from local cuisine to charcoal grills and roasts are available on the food menu. Bright flowers and candles help set the mood.

Sidharth and Kiara Advani are continuing the trend of destination weddings in Rajasthani forts. At the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas exchanged vows. Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal wed at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur. Most recently, Hansika Motwani wed Sohael Kathuriya at the Mundota Fort in Jaipur.

Neither the wedding date nor the location have been made official by Kiara and Sidharth. According to reports, among the wedding’s 100 guests will be Shahid Kapoor, Manish Malhotra, Karan Johar, and their spouse Mira Rajput. In response to a paparazzo account sharing the venue and date, the Suryagarh Palace’s official Instagram account recently wrote “see you soon.”
