Karsen Liotta, the “proud” daughter of Ray Liotta who received a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, paid tribute to her late father.
“I’m so touched to be accepting this honor on behalf of my dad. I couldn’t be more proud of him,” the 24-year-old said during the ceremony on Friday in Los Angeles. “He was a one-of-a-kind actor and the best friend, brother, and father anyone could have asked for. I lucked out with you.”
The “Shade of Blue” alum continued, “If you have a Ray in your life, you’re lucky. I love you so much. Thank you for your work and the imprint you left on me and all of those who love you.
“Everyone deserves a Ray in their life.”
Ray’s fiancee, Jacy Nittolo, to whom he proposed in 2020, was also present at the ceremony.
The recognition came over nine months after Ray passed away peacefully while filming “Dangerous Waters” in the Dominican Republic. He was 67.

Nittolo shared a number of heartfelt images of herself with Ray after the “Goodfellas” star passed away in an effort to remember their time together.
“My life these past couple of years have been nothing but truly magical,” she wrote on Instagram last May.
“Ray and I share a deep love that I will cherish in my heart forever. We laughed daily and we were inseparable. The chemistry was wild in the best way. He was everything in the world to me and we couldn’t get enough of each other. The kind of real love that one dreams of.”
Nittolo, 48, continued, “He was the most beautiful person inside and out that I’ve ever known…and even that is an understatement.”
Karsen and the former hairdresser have put a lot of effort into preserving Ray’s legacy.
The women were present at the launch of “Black Bird,” the final television production he worked on before his passing, on Apple TV+ in June. Then on Tuesday, “Cocaine Bear,” the final completed film by Ray, had its premiere, and both Nittolo and the “Prettyface” actress were there.
