In light of ongoing disputes regarding the loyalty of her late daughter Lisa Marie Presley, whose father was the late Elvis Presley, Priscilla Presley is pleading with her people to “ignore the nonsense.”

“I cherished Elvis as much as he cherished me. The fruit of our affection is Lisa. Anyone who holds a different opinion is disrespecting the heritage of their family and what Elvis left behind in his life.

“There is a person trying to speak on behalf of our family who purchased their way into the business. She continued, “This person is not a reflection of Elvis or our family. Please give me and my family the time we need to figure this out together.”

Joel Weinshanker, the managing partner at Elvis Presley Enterprises, recently commented on the controversy on Sirius XM’s Elvis Radio, saying that Lisa Marie was “quite certain” and “very direct” about who she wanted in charge of her assets and legacy despite the fact that Priscilla did not name the “individual.”

Riley Keough, 33, and Benjamin Keough, who committed suicide in July 2020 at the age of 27, were her two oldest children. “We talked this many, many times [before] she departed, and [it] was always Riley and Ben,” he added.

She had no doubts that they would serve as stewards and approach the situation in the same manner that she did. Riley definitely felt Riley’s loss deeply when Ben passed away.

As she forges “road forward with respect, honesty, dignity, integrity, and love,” Priscilla finished her enigmatic letter by pleading with her followers to “please ignore noise.”

Just days after Lisa Marie was laid to rest alongside Ben at Graceland, Elvis Presley’s estate in Memphis, Tennessee, she started the process of challenging her daughter’s will, which had long since excluded her and her former business manager. A 54-year-old singer-songwriter passed away on January 12 from a cardiac arrest.

Lisa Marie’s signature on the 2016 modification, according to court documents, was “inconsistent,” and her daughter’s name had been spelt incorrectly, according to Priscilla.

Following the petition, a source close to Lisa Marie claimed that Priscilla’s move to have the will revoked was just a “money grab,” noting that the mother-daughter combo had “no contact” at the time of Marie’s passing.
