Queen Consort Camilla contracts Covid-19
Buckingham Palace announced on Monday that Queen Consort Camilla, the wife of British King Charles III, tested positive for Covid-19.
“After suffering the symptoms of a cold, Her Majesty The Queen Consort has tested positive for the Covid virus,” the palace said in a statement about the health of the 75-year-old royal, adding that “With regret, she has therefore canceled all her public engagements for this week and sends her sincere apologies to those who had been due to attend them.”
Following Camilla’s revelation, there are rumors that the monarch, who was spotted attending public events with his wife last week, may also be put under investigation.
According to reports, King Charles and Camilla received a booster dose on top of their complete Covid-19 vaccination. The virus was previously contracted by the Queen Consort of the UK in February 2022.
According to a reliable source, King Charles would also isolate himself and adhere to official directives to prevent any health emergencies. Early in the month, he had many engagements with Camilla.
The monarch’s status was not updated on Monday, although both he and Camilla have received all of their vaccinations, including a booster injection.
It should be noted that Camilla was scheduled to pay a visit to Birmingham’s Elmhurst Ballet School this week in honor of its 100th anniversary.
