The Flash will be premiered at CinemaCon 2023 ahead of its release.
The movie will hit theatrical screens on June 16 this year.
The production has been delayed several times before.
The Flash, produced by DC Studios, aims to hit the reset button while transforming into the new DC Universe. Insiders will be able to see a preview of that remake because, according to the media, The Flash will make its world premiere at CinemaCon 2023 two months before the movie hits theatres.
The Flash will reportedly be shown during the event, which will take place from April 24 to April 27 at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. CinemaCon calls itself “the largest and most important gathering of movie theater owners from around the world” on its website, and the major motion picture studios frequently debut new trailers, sizzle reels, and footage.
At CinemaCon, new movies are frequently also confirmed. The Flash won’t be the first project to make an appearance at CinemaCon, despite the rarity of whole movies being shown there. During CinemaCon 2022, Top Gun: Maverick, a movie that would go on to rule that year’s summer box office, was famously screened by Paramount.
The Flash is scheduled to debut on April 25 as the media stated that DC is still anticipated to have a pre-screening event for its upcoming movies.

While The Flash doesn’t in theatres until June 16, DC’s choice to premiere the movie early could be an attempt to increase buzz about the movie. Despite this screening, there is still plenty of interest in the upcoming movie, which debuted its first trailer during the most recent Super Bowl.
Barry Allen, the show’s main character, “travels back in time to prevent his mother’s murder, which traps him in an alternate reality without metahumans,” according to a press release for The Flash, which stars Ezra Miller. The Flash, which is directed by Andy Muschietti and features Christina Hodson’s screenplay, also has Ben Affleck as Batman, Sasha Calle as Supergirl, and Michael Shannon as General Zod.
Michael Keaton, who will play Batman and return to the character for the first time since 1992’s Batman Returns, is the most renowned cast member.
Although there is a lot of expectation, The Flash has had its share of issues. The Covid-19 epidemic has caused numerous director changes and multiple delays for the movie, which was first announced more than nine years ago.
There is also the issue of Miller, the movie’s leading man, who has recently been involved in a number of troubling legal issues, such as a burglary case and assault accusations. The problems with Miller reportedly led DC and its parent company Warner Bros. Discovery to consider shelving the movie at one point.
Miller would later apologize for their actions, and The Flash’s post-production would proceed as scheduled. Miller allegedly gained the studio bosses back after they apologized. They weren’t the only ones to receive a warm response; DC gave the movie excellent reviews. James Gunn, the creator of the DC Universe and the company’s newly appointed co-chairman, called The Flash “f–king amazing” and “one of the best superhero movies I’ve ever seen.”
