Akshay Kumar & Nora Fatehi’s Oakland show gets cancelled

The Entertainer’s tour stop in Oakland, which was scheduled to feature performances by Sonam Bajwa, Mouni Roy, Nora Fatehi, Akshay Kumar, and Disha Patani, has been postponed. Their final performance in the US was this one. In light of the storm in California, the choice has been made.

Sonam Bajwa, Nora Fatehi, Disha Patani, Mouni Roy, Aparshakti Khurana, Stebin Ben, and Jasleen Royal were also a part of the tour. They were all doing live shows for audiences while on tour in the US. The show has been cancelled, but the reason is that California has seen flash flooding and landslides due to the excessive rain.

Due to the storm, roads have been restricted due to the increasing likelihood of avalanches and other related dangers. The National Weather Service issued a number of warnings on Saturday due to severe weather. To deal with the problem, some persons have been evacuated.

Yet, this is not the first show on the tour that has been cancelled. A different cause led to the cancellation of the New Jersey show earlier. While the concert’s promoter, Amit Jaitly, claimed via an Instagram post that the cancellation was due to ‘extremely slow sales of tickets’ a source connected to the tour has disputed the assertion. The source added that the promoter’s failure to make payment caused the cancellation of the concert scheduled for March 4.

The source said, “The Entertainers tour’s New Jersey show was unfortunately called off because the local promoter Amit Jaitley of Sai USA INC failed to pay the national promoter. Despite the presence of a large Indian population in the city were excited about the show, it‘s cancelled because of non-payment by Amit Jaitely.”

In the meantime, Mouni Roy revealed a sneak peek of her and Akshay Kumar‘s aerial act from their final live performance in Orlando. Akshay was one of the performers in their astounding act and was suspended upside-down from a harness at a big height. He stooped gently and reached out with his bare hands to select Mouni Roy from the crowd.

Mouni posted the video to Instagram with the caption, “The stage, the adrenaline, the madness, the music, lights, the chaos it’s all magic, I love it all. Thank you Orlando for the love. Always grateful to my team for all the love, faith and hard work you put in me. Thank you to my fellow performers, who have all become friends now. I shall cherish this time forever. ONLY LOVE.”
