Jr. NTR is leaving for the 2023 Oscars. As the actor boarded a flight for the US, he was photographed early in the morning at Hyderabad Airport. The actor, who was wearing a casual outfit of jeans, a sweatshirt, and a smile, got his picture taken. He will travel to the US to work with Ram Charan, SS Rajamouli, and his RRR crew.

Jr. NTR was unable to travel to the US earlier since he was grieving the loss of his cousin, but the full RRR crew is currently in the US attending interviews and awards celebrations. Taraka Ratna, the actor’s cousin brother, went away in the second week of February while he was with his family going through a difficult time.

The absence of Jr. NTR throughout the RRR promotions and the Hollywood Critics Association Awards sparked a social media argument between fans who thought Ram Charan was taking the spotlight and that it was all part of a PR plan. Later on, the Hollywood Critics Association stated on Twitter to RRR’s fans and supporters that they had invited Jr. NTR and had prepared a special award just for him, but that he was unable to attend. They stated that the actor was unable to attend the award ceremony due to personal and professional obligations.

The “Spotlight Award” was given to Jr. NTR for his portrayal of Komaram Bheem in RRR. The actor could not attend, so the HCA team mailed the award to him.

The MM Keeravani-composed chart-topper song “Naatu Naatu” from the SS Rajamouli film has entered it in the Best Song category for the Oscars. Curiously, the “Naatu Naatu” song will be performed by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava during the 95th Academy Awards event, which will be place on Sunday, March 12, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
