Miley Cyrus and K-pop heavyweights Twice both released significant albums this week, but Morgan Wallen’s smash “One Thing at a Time” managed to top the Billboard 200 for the second week in a row.

“One Thing at a Time” enters another week at No. 1 with the equivalent of 259,000 sales and 21,000 album sales, according to data from Luminate, after posting the fifth-largest streaming week ever (498.28 million streams) and the biggest opening week numbers of 2023 for any album (501,000) by units earned.

Notably, the collection surpassed Wallen’s 2021 album “Dangerous: The Double Album,” which debuted at No. 7, by 308 million on-demand official streams, making it the second-best streaming week ever for a country album.

Five of the 36 tracks on the album entered the top 10 of the Hot 100 within its first tracking week, with “Last Night” peaking at No. 1 and the set’s title track closing the top 10; the album’s 36 songs all charted on the Hot 100 during that time.

Despite the fact that Wallen continues to be the indisputable Billboard 200 champion, Twice and Cyrus both entered the ring with explosive debut numbers and all-time career highs.

With “Ready to Be,” the nine-member K-pop girl group beat their previous No. 3 efforts from 2021, “Between 1&2: 11th Mini Album” and “Formula of Love: O+T=3, The 3rd Complete Album,” to claim their first No. 2 on the Billboard 200. According to Billboard, the set sold 153,000 units in its first week, with album sales accounting for 145,500 of that total and CD sales (of which there were 11 versions) accounting for 86%. Two vinyl versions of the Record were furthermore released.

The band’s second English single, “Moonlight Sunrise,” peaked at No. 84 on the Hot 100 and served as the set’s centrepiece. It also has an English translation of the album’s opening track, “Set Me Free.” The album racked up over 10 million streams during its first tracking week.
