In a heartwarming update on July 8, Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim shared a major development regarding their baby boy’s health. Born prematurely in June, the newborn had been undergoing treatment in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) due to his delicate condition. However, the couple delightedly announced that their little one has now been discharged from the NICU.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, Shoaib expressed his gratitude and shared the positive news. He wrote, “Alhamdulillah. Today our boy has been shifted out of the NICU. He will be under observation in the hospital for a few more days. InshaAllah, we will be home soon. Our baby boy is doing well. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers. Please continue to include us in your prayers.”

Reposting her husband’s story, Dipika conveyed her happiness by adding praying and love emojis, signifying their joy and relief at their baby’s improved condition.

Dipika and Shoaib, who lovingly refer to their newborn as Chotu, welcomed their baby boy on June 21, 2023. Following his birth, the baby required specialized care in the NICU due to his premature arrival.

Earlier, Shoaib had shared the news of their first child’s arrival through his Instagram stories, disclosing the premature nature of the delivery. Alongside the announcement, he wrote a heartfelt note, stating, “Alhamdulillah, today on the 21st of June 2023, early in the morning, we are blessed with a baby boy. It’s premature delivery, but there’s nothing much to worry about. Keep us in your prayers.”

With the positive update about their baby’s progress and his departure from the NICU, Dipika, and Shoaib are grateful for the support and prayers they have received from their well-wishers. They eagerly anticipate bringing their baby boy home soon, as he continues to thrive and grow stronger with each passing day.
