Taking to her Instagram, Armeena shared a detailed note addressing a distasteful comment that appeared on one of her photos with her husband. The comment in question asked, “Bachy bhi kaly hongy?” Armeena’s response was both considerate and powerful: “And there is nothing wrong with kalay bachy. What a shameful comment. It’s old, but I’ve just seen it now. Children are a blessing. One should pray for a healthy child. Also, it turns out, you cannot predict a child’s coloring. My girl is lighter-skinned than me, and that’s not something to boast about. I would have loved her just the same if she were darker. Personally, I love dark skin. I married tall, dark, and handsome.”
