Fawad Khan’s hit Pakistani movie, The Legend of Maula Jatt, is all set to showcase its cinematic excellence in Indian cinemas next month. As per information from an Indian entertainment website, the movie is set to hit theaters on September 20, 2024. Since its debut in 2022, the movie has been a big success in Pakistan with Fawad Khan starring alongside Mahira Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi.

Insiders hint that ZEE Studios is likely to manage the film’s distribution in India. Nevertheless, there have been obstacles as some radical groups in Pakistan have shown disapproval and warned of hindering the movie’s launch in India.

The Legend of Maula Jatt is an updated version of the 1979 well-known film Maula Jatt, known for its legendary characters Maula Jatt and Noori Natt, played by Sultan Rahi and Mustafa Qureshi, respectively. The latest movie is carrying on the success of the previous installment and is expected to have a big influence on Indian viewers.
