Shan Shahid’s Sister Zarqa Shahid Criticizes Pakistani Actresses and Tiktokers

Shaan Shahid’s sister, Zarqa Shahid, is making her debut as a film producer and is launching her son, Essa, into the industry. Although she never pursued acting herself, largely due to her brother’s strong opposition to women in their family appearing on screen and her own lack of interest, she is now diving into the film world. With a hefty budget of 20 crore rupees, Zarqa is collaborating with Syed Noor to introduce her son Essa to the silver screen.

In a conversation with Ambreen Fatima, Zarqa shared the challenges she faced while trying to cast a leading actress for her son’s debut. She found it particularly difficult to find a suitable heroine in Pakistan, eventually opting to cast someone from abroad. Zarqa noted that many actresses in Pakistan carry a lot of attitude, with even Tiktok stars having an inflated sense of their importance. She observed that these actresses often seem more concerned with financial negotiations than with the actual work itself.

Zarqa also expressed her frustration with Tiktokers, remarking that they often have a high opinion of themselves despite having little to show for it in their careers. She added that when it comes time to work, they are quick to make demands despite having minimal experience or accomplishments to justify them.
