The trailer for the much-anticipated film I Want to Talk released on Tuesday, giving audiences a glimpse into its intriguing mix of drama and dark humor. The two-minute-and-thirty-second trailer was shared by Rising Sun Films on their YouTube channel.

Directed by Shoojit Sircar, the film stars Abhishek Bachchan as Arjun, a man grappling with his life after undergoing throat surgery. In the trailer, Arjun is seen recovering while wearing a cervical collar, with his daughter (played by Ahilya Bamroo) helping him speak. He initially struggles to articulate words but eventually gives up.

The trailer also touches on Arjun’s complicated relationship with his daughter, highlighting their time abroad during his medical treatment. Arjun frequently visits the hospital, attends therapy sessions, and even goes to his doctor’s home. In one poignant moment, Arjun reflects on the “purpose and meaning of every story.” The trailer concludes with a woman’s voice asking, “When you get your life back, what will you do, Arjun?”

I Want to Talk explores themes of modern relationships and human struggles, using unconventional storytelling to shed light on life’s emotional and absurd challenges. The film also features Pearle Maaney, Johnny Lever, Jayant Kripalani, and Kristin Goddard. It is set for a worldwide release on November 22.
