Zeeshan Siddique talks about family ties with Salman Khan and friendship with Shah Rukh Khan

NCP Leader Baba Siddique shares a close bond with several Bollywood celebrities. Recently, his son Zeeshan Siddique discussed his relationship with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. He described King Khan as his father’s “friend” and referred to the “Sikandar” star as “more than a family friend.”

In a recent conversation with “The Lallantop”, Zeeshan Siddique answered questions about the focus on his Bollywood connections following his father Baba Siddique’s killing, particularly regarding Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. When asked if they were family friends, Zeeshan quickly responded, “Yes.”

He further added, “Salman bhai is more than a family friend. He is like family. Shah Rukh sir is also a family friend, he has been Papa’s friend, but Salman bhai and Papa were childhood friends. Salman bhai is very close.”

Zeeshan further revealed that even after his father’s demise, he talks to Salman every one or two days. “He checks on us and asks how the family is doing,” he said, adding that they never discussed the death threats Khan has been receiving from Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. He noted that a father’s friend feels more like a “Chacha (Uncle).”

Reflecting on why he refers to Salman as “bhai,” Zeeshan explained that it is because of Salman’s “persona,” asserting that calling him “chacha” would feel awkward. However, he treats him like an uncle.

In addition, when asked if any of these Bollywood superstars would join his political campaign, Zeeshan explained that he and his father always ensured their personal and political lives remained separate. He stated that anyone who wishes to be a part of their campaign is welcome to do so.

However, since many celebrities prefer to avoid political inclinations, they do not want to place anyone in an uncomfortable situation where they might hesitate to agree.

Baba Siddique was well-known for hosting star-studded Iftaar parties and for mending differences between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. In an earlier interview with BBC Hindi, Zeeshan revealed that Salman has been consistently checking on their family and has been losing sleep over their situation.
