Tusshar Kapoor, known for his performances in iconic film franchises like Golmaal and Kya Kool Hai Hum, is set to star in the ensemble film Welcome to the Jungle, releasing in 2025. The actor remains unfazed by the challenge of standing out in multi-starrer projects.
“I just work hard and focus on my character,” Tusshar says. “Whether it’s the Golmaal franchise or the Shootout series, my characters have always made an impact. If you work hard, you will be noticed.”
Acknowledging the concern of being overshadowed, he adds, “That fear gives you a good kind of nervous energy. Even with a few scenes, my goal is to make people say, ‘He was there, and he did a good job.’”
Tusshar values camaraderie on set, noting, “As long as the role is good and the atmosphere is comfortable, I’m happy to keep working in such films.” Reflecting on Bollywood’s evolution with the rise of OTT platforms, he observes, “The focus on storytelling has become more pronounced. People now have access to great content at home, but films will always be part of our culture. Watching movies in theatres is ingrained in us.”
Tusshar believes the industry is rediscovering its storytelling roots, ensuring both creative and commercial growth.
