Rubina Ashraf opens up about battling anger with her issues and Illness
Rubina Ashraf recently appeared on Wasi Shah’s show “Zabardast”, where she discussed her anger issues, journey with anger management, and the challenges she faced during her illness.
While discussing her anger issues, Rubina Ashraf said, “I want to reduce anger from my life because I believe anger is a very constructive force as long as you use it for yourself. I can use my anger for my benefit instead of wasting my energy on calling others out for their wrongdoings because I know that my reaction to that particular person is justified, but it will negatively drain my energy and the other person will only see my negativity, he won’t correct himself. Now, I am learning the art of making others understand subtly and articulately”.
Talking about her struggles when she had COVID, she said, “I was suffering from COVID; during that, I was in pain. I was struggling and was angry; it was my only survival skill. I remember I treated my daughter badly during that time; I blamed her, I became selfish, and I thought I wasn’t taken care of in a proper manner. As a patient, I was unaware of her struggles. I was only seeing myself. After I was discharged from the hospital, I saw the real struggle of my family, because I couldn’t do anything, and they were just doing everything to save me”
