Shatrughan Sinha expresses concern over Saif Ali Khan’s stabbing incident, calls it ‘sad & unfortunate’
Veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha expressed his concern over the recent stabbing of Saif Ali Khan in his Bandra residence. Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, Shatrughan called the attack “sad and unfortunate” and lauded Saif’s wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, for her strength during the ordeal.
Sharing an AI-generated image of Saif in a hospital bed alongside Kareena, Sinha wrote, “Very sad & unfortunate the tragic attack on our near, dear & loved #SaifAliKhan which injured him severely. Thank God he is healing well to recovery. Profound regards to my all-time favourite ‘showman’ filmmaker #RajKapoor’s granddaughter #KareenaKapoorKhan & the family.”
He further urged the public to avoid unnecessary speculation, adding, “One humble appeal: please stop the ‘blame game.’ Police are doing their job well. We certainly appreciate our CM & HM, Maharashtra @Dev_Fadnavis, for his concern & remedial measures. The matter will be solved soon, sooner the better.”
Sinha thanked Deputy CMs Ajit Pawar and Eknath Shinde for their efforts, saying, “After all, Saif is one of the most brilliant stars/actors and also both a Padmashri & National Award winner. Law will take its own course as things are moving in the right direction. Get well soon 🙏.”
Saif, who sustained multiple stab wounds, is recovering after successful surgery at Lilavati Hospital. Meanwhile, police have arrested a suspect, with further investigation underway.
