Justin Baldoni faces harsh criticism from Hollywood’s bigshot agent amid legal drama
Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively are once again caught in a heated conflict. Over the past few months, industry insiders have shown support for their preferred side. This time, a well-known Hollywood agent targeted Baldoni. Ari Emanuel, an executive at WME, harshly criticized his former client with scathing remarks.
According to “The Hollywood Reporter”, Ari Emanuel appeared on an episode of “Freakonomics Radio Live”, hosted by Stephen Dubner. The 63-year-old made it clear that he harbored no fondness for “It Ends With Us” actor Justin Baldoni. While openly declaring his support for one side, he also took a jab at Baldoni’s surname.
He said, “It is a f—-d up, bad situation with what Bologna…Baldoni—whatever his name is doing.” Justin’s lawyer Bryan Freedman has replied to this statement, in what can be seen as a sarcastic remark, saying, “Mr. Ari Emanuel is notably one of the best agents, and the most loyal, in Hollywood.” Revealing that Jane the Virgin star was last time called “Bologna” back in the 5th grade. He told THR, “Perhaps Ari’s perspective would be different if they had ever met in the half-decade they were clients of his agency.”
The agent reportedly fired Justin Baldoni from WME after news broke of Blake Lively suing him. Since then, he has firmly supported Lively and Ryan Reynolds, testifying to their good character.
However, critics aren’t targeting just the 41-year-old amid the heated legal battle. Blake Lively recently faced backlash after an assistant director from her 2018 movie “A Simple Favor” came forward with new allegations. Barbara Szeman commented under Henry Golding’s Instagram post, claiming Lively was the reason she “quit being an AD.”
Although Szeman deleted her comment, it had already gone viral across various social media platforms.
