She added that many in her field, including her friends, have reported having trouble finding work without social media’s “blue-tick” certification.

Delnaaz debuted in the early 1990s music video Ga Ga Ga Gori Gori by Baba Sehgal. She gained notoriety for her part in the sitcom Yes Boss and then performed in a number of comedic roles in movies. It’s more of going and struggling with the casting directors… This whole middle structure that is there, that is something I still need to figure out. It’s like, you have to go to their offices. There’s a lot of groupism, and camps.”
