Hema Malini feeds Dharmendra cake, pose with him on his birthday

Hema Malini, an actor-politician, joined Dharmendra and his family in celebrating his 87th birthday. She sent a birthday greeting earlier in the day and posted photographs from the celebrations on Twitter, along with a prayer for his health. Hema can be seen posing with Dharmendra in the photos she shared online. In one of the pictures, she gives him a slice of birthday cake as well. Another image shows Hema, their daughters Esha and Ahana Deol, and Dharmendra posing with a bouquet of flowers. Hema shared the pictures and wrote, “Birthday Celebrations today – at home.”

Hema shared the birthday special note on Thursday afternoon and wrote, “Praying for dear Dharam ji’s good health on his birthday today. Wish him a long and healthy life filled always with happiness and joy! My prayers will be with him today and every day of our lives. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the love of my life.” She also added a number of heart emojis.

To celebrate his birthday, Dharmendra also held a hawan at his residence. His grandson Karan Deol and son Bobby Deol posted a photo of him smiling in front of a hawan kund that still had fire burning in it. Besides Dharmendra, Bobby and Karan also took pictures. Since making his screen debut in the 1960s at the age of 25, Dharmendra has dominated the hearts of fans of Indian cinema. He is one of the most adored action figures in Hindi movies.

Dharmendra’s upcoming film is the romantic comedy Rocky aur Rani ki Prem Kahani from director Karan Johar. Along with Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi, the movie stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the key roles. On April 28, it is scheduled to open in theatres.

Additionally, Dharmendra will appear with Agastya Nanda in the upcoming movie Ikkis, directed by Sriram Raghavan. It is based on the life of Arun Khetrpal, the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra. He will appear in the Apne sequel as well. He will work with Sunny Deol and Bobby again in the next movie. They will collaborate with Karan on the Anil Sharma-directed project.
