Nawazuddin Siddiqui recalls rehearsing with SRK as amazing

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, an actor, has collaborated with both Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. He spoke candidly about his work experiences with both in a recent interview. While he claimed that working with Shah Rukh was best enjoyed during rehearsals, Nawazuddin referred to Salman as a kind-hearted performer.

In Raees, the actor—who is renowned for his independent films—collaborated with Shah Rukh Khan. Shah Rukh played a criminal in the 2017 movie, and Nawaz played a cop. Nawazuddin co-starred with Salman Khan in the blockbusters Kick (2014) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015).

Nawazuddin Siddiqui responded when questioned about the differences between Shah Rukh and Salman’s working styles: “The best part of working with Shah Rukh Khan was that we got to do a lot of rehearsals. Even when the team would think that a particular scene should be redone, we would shoot it again.”

“With Salman bhai, the experience is different. He’s so generous as an actor that he will give his best dialogues to you to say. He’ll be with you in front of the camera and say, ‘Ye le, ye dialogue tu bol le yaar (You can take this dialogue)’. I enjoyed working with bhai a lot,” he added about Salman.

Nawazzudin rose to fame after appearing in Gangs of Wasseypur Part 2 by Anurag Kashyap in 2012. His most recent appearance was in the critically and commercially unsuccessful Heropanti 2 with Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria. He had previously stated to News18 in response to the film’s failure, “Picture chale na chale, lekin Nawazuddin Siddiqui toh chalega (I will always be relevant regardless of my film’s performance)”

The actor’s forthcoming movie Haddi will be the next time we see him. The movie, which will be directed and co-written by Akshat Ajay Sharma and Adamya Bhalla, will hit theatres in 2019. Additionally, Nawazuddin has upcoming projects including Tiku Weds Sheru, Noorani Chehre, and Bole Chudiya.
