Shahid Kapoor, Tiger Shroff & Nawazuddin Siddiqui, along with Jeetendra

On Sunday in Mumbai, Shahid Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, seasoned performer Jeetendra, and director Ayan Mukerji were all spotted on the red carpet for the Zee Film Award 2023. Ayushmann and Aparshakti Khurrana, brothers, are co-hosting the awards ceremony.

At the ceremony, there will be stage performances by Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. Both of the former co-stars are up for awards for their work in the films Bhediya and Gangubai Kathiawadi from the previous year.

Tiger met up with Jeetendra on the red carpet and posed for pictures. Tiger will next be seen in Kriti Sanon’s film Ganapath. They both wore black attire to the awards ceremony. The actor, who is well renowned for his action performances, was most recently spotted in Heropanti 2.

Shahid Kapoor, who turned 42 on Saturday, was not joined by his wife Mira Rajput for the red carpet appearance. The actor was dressed in a black suit and a white shirt. He most recently appeared in the Prime Video series Farzi.

The award event was also attended by Akshay Oberoi, Sheeba Chaddha, Darshaan Kumar, Ahmed Khan, Aaditi Pohankar, Karan Mehta, Nikkhil Advani, Jayantilal Gada, Lalit Pandit, Rajkumar Santoshi, Namashi Chakraborty, and Anu Malik.

Kartik Aaryan is also a nominee for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’s Best Actor (Male) category along with Varun. Other nominees are Ranbir Kapoor for Brahmstra: Part One – Shiva, Ajay Devgn for Drishyam 2, Hrithik Roshan for Vikram Vedha, and Anupam Kher for The Kashmir Files.

With the movies Darlings, which she also produced, and Gangubai Kathiawadi, which she also starred in, Alia is a double nominee in the Best Actor (Female) category. Deepika Padukone for Gehraiyaan, Kiara Advani for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Bhumi Pednekar for Badhaai Do, and Kriti Sanon for Bhediya round up the list of nominations.

The nominations for Song of the Year include Kesariya from Brahmstra: Part One – Shiva, Doobey from Gehraiyaan, the title song from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, The Punjaabban song from Jugjugg Jeeyo, Apna Bana Le from Bhediya, and Maiyya Mainu from Jersey.

Gangubai Kathiawadi, The Kashmir Files, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Brahmstra: Part One – Shiva, Drishyam 2, and Jugjugg Jeeyo are the contenders for Best Film. Voting for the Best Picture, Best Male Actor, Best Female Actress, and Song Of The Year categories was available to viewers who logged in.
