
Regina King’s Oscar 2021 gown was made with 62,000 sequins and took 140 hours to complete
The 93rd Awards Academy saw some of the most stunning red carpet moments served by our favorite celebrities. Regina King brought all the drama and glamour to the 93rd Academy Awards with her custom Louis Vuitton dress.
Regina King wore a pale-blue figure-sculpting gown for her appearance at the Oscars 2021. The dress was adorned with 62,000 sequins, 3,900 pale sparkling stones and took 140 hours to make.
She shared an image of her look on Instagram with the caption, “Feeling like a whole statue!’’

The Oscar-winning actress wore a figure-sculpting pale blue satin dress that featured a flared silhouette with ruffled shoulders and graded silver sequin embellishments.
Additionally, it took over 140 hours to craft the gown in the Vuitton atelier. Regina King’s stylist also told that they had been working on King’s Oscars gown since January. That is just mind-blowing.
