Maya underwent her first successful operation on June 7 and is presently recovering, according to Cory. Despite the fact that she hasn’t been released from the hospital, Mom and Dad “can’t wait to bring her home and show her the love that she deserves.”

“I just want to say thank you to everyone for their prayers during this pregnancy and birth!” Cory started his new job. “Tricuspid Atresia, a type of congenital heart disease, was diagnosed in Maya.”

Cory added that he wants to help other families in similar situations by sharing his daughter’s health issues.

“Daddy loves you so much, you are such a fighter. Visiting you in the NICU every day isn’t easy, but if that’s what it takes, we’ll do it,” he wrote. “We’ll always be there for you. I’m really proud of you for persevering through it all. You have a story to tell, and we can’t wait to see how your personality develops. I can’t wait for you to meet your sisters; they are both going to be great big sisters to you.”
