Probably wishing he could “stop this train,” John Mayer. Twitter users, known as “Swifties,” are attacking the singer in response to Taylor Swift’s new “Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve” an extra track from “Midnights.”

The 32-year-old singer Swift says, “At 19, and the God’s honest truth is that the pain was heaven/ And now that I’m grown, I’m afraid of ghosts/ Memories feel like weapons/ And now that I know, I wish you left me wondering.”

I would have sided with the good if you had never touched me. If I had not reddened, people may not have murmured about it. Likewise, if you had not relieved my ennui, I might have continued as I was. But Lord, you made me feel significant, and then you attempted to erase us.

It goes without saying that Swift’s admirers were ecstatic about the alleged attack on her ex-boyfriend, which occurred more than ten years ago.

“John Mayer, be scared,” tweeted one Swiftie.

“Damn I wish John Mayer was still with us, I know my guy would’ve absolutely loved this website if he was alive today. RIP,” tweeted another.

“JOHN MAYER COUNT YOUR F–KING DAYS!!!!” tweeted another.

“John Mayer you better start running,” tweeted another user.

“John Mayer is never seeing heaven for this (she was 19, he was 32. THIRTY. TWO.),” wrote another.

The singer of “Slow Dancing in a Burning Room” has frequently faced abuse from the followers of his ex. Mayer responded to a Swift supporter who told him to “die” last year.

According to photos shared by the Instagram account @deux.discussions, the Swiftie known as Alondra wrote to Mayer, “f-k yourself you ugly bitch I hope you choke on something 3.”

Later, the persistent user messaged the singer of “New Light” once more with the message, “Answer me you bitch.”

Hi Alondra, it’s John,” Mayer, 45, wrote in response, appearing to have had enough. Over the last few of days, I’ve received a tonne of texts similar to this. I made the choice to respond to one of your messages at random. You are welcome to take a screenshot and share it however you like.

I’m not unhappy, he continued; rather, I just have a tendency to be interested and feel obligated to ask. Do you really want me to pass away?
