  • After being removed from the air as a result of her alleged affair with co-anchor T.J. Holmes being made public, Amy Robach was seen for the first time.
  • On Wednesday, the 49-year-old anchor was walking her dog around her new neighbourhood in New York City and appeared entirely unperturbed.
  • Robach appeared to be dressed for the event as she wore a white blouse and green cargo pants with a denim jacket and brown boots.

She walked the streets of midtown Manhattan with her blonde hair in a sloppy ponytail and no makeup on.

Robach’s appearance follows “GMA3” bosses’ decision to axe the couple off their daily show at 1 p.m. because their suspected romance had become a “internal and external distraction,” just a few days before to Robach’s exposure.

Even if the alleged affair between Holmes and Robach “was not a breach of company policy,” ABC News president Kim Godwin warned that it would damage the “GMA” reputation.

On Monday, co-anchors Stephanie Ramos and Gio Benitez had to awkwardly inform their viewers that they were taking “the day off.”

The purported relationship between Holmes, 45, and Robach came to light last week after pictures of the two interacting intimately online and in Manhattan clubs were released.

They arrived at work the following day “as a couple,” despite the fact that they haven’t yet commented on the situation and are both now married to other people.

According to a source who spoke to Page Six, “while producers had been freaking out and having meetings about whether it was right to put them back on air again together, they showed up as a couple and said they were ready and totally fine to go on air,” acting like “nothing happened.”

Holmes was unconcerned with the issue, but his wife Marilee Fiebig was “blindsided” to learn about the romance because she saw Robach as a close friend.

Holmes caught Fiebig cheating on her with another “GMA” producer, Natasha Singh, a few years earlier, and they were apparently in the middle of trying to patch things up.
