Tom Cruise’s festive cheer has Rosie O’Donnell in the holiday spirit. The 60-year-old TV host and producer posted a picture of the thoughtful gift she received from the 60-year-old Top Gun: Maverick actor, which has become an annual custom between the friends.

“I received a coconut cake from my Tommy! I cherish that guy “O’Donnell posted a message on Instagram alongside a picture of the delectable dish.

The white coconut-topped Bundt cake arrived in a box with beige and white ribbons and a jeweled reindeer on top. Warmest greetings to you this holiday season, according to the note that the Cruise included with the present.

Every year, Cruise sends O’Donnell gifts with the exact same wrapping and inscription. When Tommy’s gift arrived in 2020, she said on Instagram, “Christmas is here.”

On SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show last year, O’Donnell discussed her nearly two-decade connection with Cruise and explained why she will “always love” the Mission: Impossible star.

“He is the only person who never misses my birthday. In knowing him for 25 years now, he has never missed my birthday or an event in my life,” said O’Donnell.

The actress from A League of Their Own claimed she knows him “in the sense that I did in that time 25 years ago” and believes he is a “classy guy” for never forgetting her on special occasions like her birthday and holidays.

She said, “A lot of people tell me it’s just his secretary, but I don’t believe that.” “Early in March, I believe he realizes that Rosie’s birthday is approaching and sends me a message. For 25 years, every single year.”

During his 2001 appearance on The Rosie O’Donnell Show to promote his film Vanilla Sky, Cruise made an unforgettable impression on O’Donnell by showering her with an embrace and a bouquet of flowers. During the same scene, O’Donnell advised him: “I really like you. You are aware of it, I’m sure.”
