Austin Butler spent with Lisa Marie Presley will always be cherished. One day after the singer-death songwriter’s on January 12 at the age of 54, the Elvis Presley actor paid tribute to her. In a statement to the media on January 13, he said, “My heart is absolutely shattered for Riley, Finley, Harper, and Priscilla at the awful and unexpected loss of Lisa Marie.” “I will always be grateful that I was fortunate enough to be in the vicinity of her bright light during that time, and I will treasure the private times we spent. We shall never forget her kindness, love, and sincerity.”

After the 2022 release of the film, Lisa Marie and Austin became great friends. Austin recently recalled the first time he met Elvis Presley, Priscilla Presley’s only son.

“She hugged me with tears in her eyes, and she just said, ‘Thank you,'” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “She took me upstairs and we went into Elvis’ bedroom and just sat on his bed and just talked for hours.”

Lisa Marie applauded Austin’s portrayal of her father in interviews and on social media, gushing that he “channeled and represented my father’s heart and spirit brilliantly.”

“In my humble opinion,” she wrote on Instagram in May, “his performance is unprecedented and FINALLY done accurately and respectfully. (If he doesn’t get an Oscar for this, I will eat my own foot, haha.)”

She had the impression that he had successfully channeled Elvis, who passed away in August 1977 at the age of 42.

During Exclusively Elvis: A Special Edition of 20/20, she remarked, “He devoted everything he had, his heart, his soul, everything he had into researching, reading, watching, and learning.” He did everything in his power to honor him.

She and Priscilla accompanied Austin to the 80th annual Golden Globes on January 10, marking Lisa Marie’s final public appearance before her untimely passing. Austin thanked the Presley family in his acceptance speech after winning the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Drama.

“Thank you guys, thank you for opening your hearts, your memories, your home to me,” he said. “Lisa Marie, Priscilla, I love you forever.”

Lisa Marie was taken to the hospital in a hurry two days later. A 54-year-old lady was experiencing a cardiac arrest when paramedics got to her Calabasas home, according to a representative for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department who talked to Entertainment Tonight.

Priscilla revealed that her daughter had passed just a few hours later.

According to Priscilla, “She was the most passionate, strong, and loving lady I have ever known.” “We request discretion as we work to process this tragic loss. Thank you for your prayers and love.”
