Ramona Singer is prepared to reveal who she truly is to the world. The Real Housewives of New York alum spoke candidly about how her time away from the Bravo program has affected her life in an interview with The Daily Mail. She cited being free to “manage my own story” as the finest aspect of living away from the camera.

Singer, 66, declared: “I’m happier and calmer today.” “I seldom ever miss it. I wouldn’t exchange the experience for anything because it was so wonderful.

Singer also gave an explanation of why she no longer feels comfortable in the position of a TV character. I’ve worked hard my entire life, and I’m about 60 now,” Singer continued.

“It’s time for me to relax and have fun. And doing the show is not simple, “She went on.”People really believe it to be simple. Really, really stressful.”

She also said that the Ramona Singer that appeared on television wasn’t the real Ramona Singer.

“They didn’t tell me what to do, I just knew how to create [drama],” Singer added. “‘Was that the real me? Not really. Was it me on steroids? Absolutely.”

The singer made an appearance in the show’s first 13 seasons, which ran from 2008 to 2021. In November, she made her exit known, telling the news: “I no longer desire to perform on the program. I’m not ready for it yet.”

Shortly before the announcement, Bravo declared their intention to completely remake RHONY with a fresh cast. The “Legacy” series, which would carry on the OG RHONY story while opening up a new direction for the following generation, was anticipated to feature the original stars.

The singer hinted about her reservations about an RHONY all-stars series in October.

“I’ve been there for a long time. I mean, never say no, never say never,” Singer said on an episode of the Reality with the King Podcast. “But I also feel like the Legacy, how can it be really good? The people who they’re going to bring back our people they didn’t want to renew anyway.”
