Buffy the Vampire Slayer had a significant impact, as Sarah Michelle Gellar is aware. On Friday’s edition of The Graham Norton Show, the Wolf Pack actress made fun of herself when discussing how Buffy’s fandom has the unintended consequence of drawing attention to her advanced age.

Gellar, 45, told Graham Norton, “People love to tell me that it [has been] 20 years. Although I don’t need the exact date and passage of time for others to recognize how old I am, I do love that they still bring it up.

From 1997 until 2003, Gellar played Buffy Summers, a young vampire hunter, and world-saver. When Buffy was a teen in the 1990s, she balanced her time between friends, romance, and her family live when she wasn’t slaying bad guys of all supernatural colors.

Not only that, but Gellar also played Daphne Blake in the Scooby-Doo movie from 2002 and its 2004 sequel, Scooby-Doo Monsters Unleashed, giving her additional expertise with creepy sleuthing. (The teenagers on Buffy frequently referred to themselves as the “Scooby Gang” in a cute reference.

In her most recent appearance, Gellar explores a different kind of supernatural story in the brand-new Paramount+ series Wolf Pack, which happens to be perfect for loyal Buffy fans. Gellar confessed to Norton, 59 that she almost didn’t pick up the script during their talk.

I didn’t want to read it, but as our discussion on mental health progressed, she commented, “Which is extremely timely.” “Teenage worry is met aphorized by the werewolf.”
