Ashton Kutcher claims Mila Kunis told him he was a good friend for 2 years

Early in their relationship, Mila Kunis and her future husband Ashton Kutcher were direct with one another. Kutcher, 44, recalls Kunis, whom he memorably costarred with on That ’70s Show and later married, telling him “‘You were an a———,'” in reference to how he behaved after his breakup with Demi Moore, in a new digital cover story with Esquire.

The 39-year-old Kunis reportedly asked the Your Place or Mine actor, “Was I?”

She allegedly remarked at the time, “Yeah, you were an a——— for a solid two years,” according to Kutcher.

Not that Kutcher disagrees necessarily, but their opinions on the time may differ.

Earlier in the interview, Kutcher added, “I was a———” while talking about how his career took off in the early 2000s.

The actor is now incredibly appreciative of Kunis, who he claims “is so much cooler than” him.

“The thing about Mila that made our relationship accelerate was that I had always admired her,” Kutcher told Esquire. “Her talents, her skills, her gifts. But I knew that she didn’t need me. And she knew that I didn’t need her.”

Another important component? He quipped that he and Kunis already knew all of each other’s dirty little secrets.

13 years after they first met on that ’70s Show, the two started dating in the early months of 2012. Wyatt, their daughter, was born in October 2014; they were wed in July 2015; and Dimitri, their son, was born in November 2016.

In another section of his Esquire feature, Kutcher discussed how fortunate he felt in his life, taking into account its course and his support network.

“And when you have some self-awareness and feel so fortunate and blessed, you understand you didn’t achieve it alone. I didn’t do all of this alone “said he.
