The awards train that was hauling Everything Everywhere All at Once halted at the Screen Actors Guild Awards and broke records there as part of yet another remarkable victory. The multiverse fantasy movie won a total of four major prizes that night, shattering the awards show record for the most victories for a single movie. It not only won the organization’s de facto Best Picture award for Outstanding Ensemble in a Motion Film, the night’s top prize, but it also took home the prize for Best Female Actress, which went to Michelle Yeoh.

In addition, Ke Huy Quan won the SAG Award for Best Male Actor in a Supporting Role, making him the first Asian man to ever win an individual award in any film category. Jamie Lee Curtis won the award for Best Female Actor in a Supporting Role. Everything Everywhere All at Once broke the record for most accolades won with its four victories. Since the awards’ inception in 1995, only four movies have managed to win three. Brendan Fraser won the Best Male Actor award for his work in The Whale.

The White Lotus on HBO took home the prize for best ensemble in a drama series, and Jennifer Coolidge was named the best female actor in a drama series. The comedic ensemble prize went to Abbott Elementary.

Ozark’s Jason Bateman won the lead actor award for dramatic television, and The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White won the award for comedy. At 32, he was the award’s youngest recipient. The female comedy prize went to Jean Smart for Hacks.

In the run-up to the Academy Awards, Everything Everywhere All at Once received a number of significant prizes, including the Producers Guild Award for Best Picture and the Directors Guild Award for Best Director.
