“Fast X” trailer features family, fast cars, and Jason Momoa seeking revenge

Big Game on Sundays, a lot of people come together. It’s a shared evening of entertainment with your closest friends and family. Your companions. Your household and the world’s silliest family (including Ludacris) just returned to the table for more food.

Two days after the world saw the first official trailer for the lengthy, illustrious, and downright absurd street racing-turned-super spy franchise, there will be a tease during the Super Bowl. The latest trailer for Fast X, the penultimate film in the Fast and Furious series, debuted during the Super Bowl. While most of the material was already familiar to us, it did give us a closer look at the action that will be taking place this spring.

Fast X Comes From A Very Big Family

 The movie has a huge ensemble cast, so the absence of Dwayne Johnson, who is undoubtedly still sore from playing Black Adam a few months ago, doesn’t feel as noticeable as it did in F9. With John Cena’s return as Jakob Toretto, Jason Momoa’s inclusion as the main antagonist, Brie Larson from the MCU, Rita Moreno from West Side Story (playing the Toretto grandmother, of course), and Jack Reacher himself, the enormous Alan Ritchson to the Fast Family, the star power has been significantly increased.

Naturally, the usual suspects are also there. Along with Diesel, we’ll be joined by Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren, Jason Statham, Lucas Black, Shad “Bow Wow” Moss, Jason Tobin, and Anna Sawai. Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Sung Kang, and Nathalie Emmanuel will also be present.

But it wasn’t all smooth sailing for Fast X, as director Louis Leterrier recently admitted to Esquire Magazine. The third act of the movie had to be completely rewritten at the last minute.

“They responded, “Great, because the third act as a whole is shifting. Can you revise it this evening? I had hardly slept at all “Leterrier stated. “I had not slept for days. There was no way that this was going to be final. However, I said, “Okay, OK, I’ve got some thoughts,” and I immediately began to write. Additionally, I had to alter the first act because the third act was shifting. Additionally, the second act must be eliminated while rewriting the third and first acts. In essence, I had to recreate the aero plane on the spot.” On May 19, 2023, Fast X is scheduled to premiere in theatres.
