“Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3″ whole cast are back together in a new poster
Following the debut of a brand-new teaser during the Super Bowl, a brand-new poster for the upcoming third film in the franchise features the reunion of The Guardians of the Galaxy. It was unexpected to see Gamora, who was once again portrayed by Zoe Saldaa, by their side, even if it was expected to see characters like Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Rocket (Bradley Cooper), and Groot (Vin Diesel) in the same place.
The Gamora seen on the poster is a different version of the courageous fighter who has been a member of the group ever since the original Guardians of the Galaxy film hit theatres back in 2014. While the variant Gamora who will appear in the next Vol. 3 comes from a separate reality and makes her way to the regular Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline in Avengers: Endgame, the original Gamora was slain during the events of Avengers: Infinity War.
The Guardians are attempting to settle into their new life on Knowhere in Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3, but when details of Rocket’s history come to light, Star-Lord is forced to take the group on a perilous journey to save him that may result in the group’s dissolution. Following his direction of the first two Guardians of the Galaxy movies, James Gunn directed this one. The director is now preoccupied with overseeing Warner Bros.’ forthcoming DCU, which will include new Batman and Superman films. Together with Peter Safran, Gunn was chosen president of DC Films last year. Since then, the two have been producing a wide range of movies and television shows.
The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special comes before the impending Guardians adventure. Star-Lord was inconsolable after losing Gamora in the Marvel Studios Special Presentation, which was released on Disney+ during the holidays. Mantis (Pom Klementieff) and Drax (Dave Bautista) sneak away from the team to kidnap Kevin Bacon and give him to Quill as a gift since they want to cheer him up for the holidays. Then, as Mantis and Drax discover that it is not acceptable to kidnap Hollywood actors, regardless of how unhappy your friends may feel, the Guardians sing their own Christmas carol.
For the Super Bowl, Disney also unveiled a fresh trailer for Gunn’s last Guardians of the Galaxy film. Star-Lord briefly summarizes what transpired between him and Gamora in the first two Guardians films, as well as in Infinity War and Endgame, in the teaser. Additionally, it offers a glimpse into the High Evolutionary’s (Chukwudi Iwuji) strategy for building the ideal society. It was hinted in the first trailer for the film that the new antagonist had a significant part to play in Rocket Raccoon’s past. What will transpire when the High Evolutionary and the Guardians of the Galaxy cross paths remains to be seen.
