Speaking about his most recent “uncomfortable” appearance on The View, Liam Neeson. The 70-year-old Irish actor made an appearance on the talk show last week to promote his new movie Marlowe, and the panellists made fun of Joy Behar’s longtime obsession on him.
Ana Navarro said to Behar, 80, “You talk about him so often,” and then Alyssa Farah Griffin quipped to their guest, “Joy wants to get ‘taken’ by you,'” alluding to Liam Neeson’s classic movie.
Later in the segment, the program presented clips of Behar discussing Neeson in earlier episodes; following which, the actor jokingly asked her, “Joy, you received the checks, right?” as everyone chuckled.
But, Neeson said that he found the whole situation “a bit uncomfortable” in an interview with Rolling Stone that was published on Monday.
“I cranked the TV up while enjoying a cup of tea in the dressing room and thought, “Oh, this would be fantastic.” They’re talking about the problem of gun violence in America, and I concur “He remembered. After the intermission, “I go up stage and join the ladies, and I was praising them for their talk.”
“I’ve known Whoopi [Goldberg] for years, and I know Joy a little bit, but when our section begins, it’s just all this Bullshit about Joy [Behar] and Liam Neeson having a crush, and I just wasn’t impressed. You know I don’t like being in those situations?” Added he.
Neeson continued to inform the media that he had “a good, cerebral talk” after the show with Sunny Hostin, an attorney and fellow panellist.

When contacted by press, a The View representative declined to make an official remark.
Following a recent interview with Vanity Fair in which he discussed his discomfort about capturing private moments, Neeson spoke with Rolling Stone.
“To be completely honest, I find it impossible to look at sex scenes. I simply feel humiliated, “said he. I don’t need to witness that, even though I know they are choreographed and other things.
