The release of Sam Worthington’s new film Transfusion will mark his return to the big screen. In Avatar: The Way of Water, the actor was last spotted embarking on a once-in-a-lifetime journey through Pandora’s oceans. Worthington is ready for another adventure, but this time, the actor will be using guns to battle rather than bows and arrows and fantastical animals. The actor was depicted brandishing a gun and looking dangerous in a previously released poster as he prepared for the upcoming battle. Interested in transfusions? The actor’s newest film has now received a trailer, giving fans a preview.

In Transfusion, Worthington plays Special Forces soldier Ryan Logan, who is going through a psychological crisis following the terrible death of his wife, Justine (Phoebe Tonkin). Logan is broken and his grief begins to impair his relationship with his kid, but before he can rebuild his life, he is compelled to return to the underworld of crime in order to safeguard the only family he has left. The accident that killed Logan’s wife is revealed in the trailer, as well as how his heartbroken kid copes with losing both his mother and an emotionally distant father. The trailer also portrays Logan’s forced to return to the realm of organized crime and his preparation for combat.

Due to the father-son relationship that is discussed in the film, Matt Nable, the writer and director of the film, says that it is a familiar experience. Nable was raised by the military, transferring from one barracks to another as a young child until his father retired from the military when he was 15 years old. The story’s inspiration came from his teen years spent around the army.

Written in 2020, the film marks Noble’s first foray into directing. Michael and John Schwarz of Deeper Water Films are the producers. Along with Worthington and Tonkin, other well-known cast members include Gilbert Bradman as Billy and Nable as Johnny. Nable and Worthington are reunited in Transfusion since they previously collaborated on the Hacksaw Ridge battlefield. Worthington is well-known for his work in a number of big-budget films, including Terminator Salvation and Clash of the Titans, in addition to his part as Jake Sully in Avatar. In addition to these films, Nable recently starred in Poker Face and Arrow.
