Cher is making a significant move to integrate her personal and professional lives.

The 76-year-old pop icon told the media on Monday that she and her partner Alexander “A.E.” Edwards are writing new songs together.

“I’m going to England to make two albums,” she told the outlet. “Some of the songs Alexander gave me, so I’m pretty excited about that. He’s a producer and a writer and he does everything, so I’m happy about that.”

Cher also suggested that her beau is made of sturdy stuff. She said, “I think like any artist when you’ve got something good, you’re excited.”

Cher also revealed in the interview that she is “trying to get myself in shape” for upcoming tour plans, which should excite fans.

The “Believe” singer previously talked about her relationship with 36-year-old Edwards, whom she started dating in the fall of 2022 after they met at Paris Fashion Week, and how they get along despite their significant age difference.

“On paper, it’s kind of ridiculous,” Cher said on The Kelly Clarkson Show. “But in real life, we get along great. He’s fabulous. And I don’t give men qualities that they don’t deserve.”
