Moses Ingram and Michael Shannon have recently joined the cast of Joshua Oppenheimer’s upcoming musical extravaganza The End, adding a couple of big names to the ensemble. The movie’s plot is currently a secret, but the premise revolves around the last human family left on Earth and shifts into a post-apocalyptic with plenty of musical numbers. The End is currently in production in Ireland, before the team heads over to Italy and Germany for the rest of the filming schedule. Ingram and Shannon will be joining a cast that already features actors like Tilda Swinton, Tim McInnerny, and Lenny James. The End has become a priority for NEON, who is funding the international co-production, given the majority of the performers associated with the project have been seen in significant films throughout their careers. Shooting on the musical is slated to wrap this summer, but a release date hasn’t been announced by the distributor yet.
